Important Registration Services

Sec 8

An organization formed to support nonprofit endeavors is known as a Section 8 Company. The company’s members do not get any of the earnings; instead, they are put to use for advancing various humanitarian causes. To register as a Section 8 company, at least two directors are required. However, establishing such a corporation does not require a minimum amount of paid-up capital.

Trade Licence

Every trading company needs a trade license since it authorizes them to operate in a certain region. As a result, entrepreneurs can only do business in a certain location after acquiring a trade license from the municipal corporation of the city, town, or village. Businesses that need a trade license must submit an application 30 days prior to opening.

FSSAI Registration

For every food-related company in India, an FSSAI License and Registration are necessary. You need a food license if you work in food processing, manufacturing, packaging, distribution, or retailing. Running a business without a current food license can result in fines, business closure, and legal issues. Having an FSSAI license increases your reputation and shows that you are dedicated to high-quality, safe food.

Labour Registration (Karnataka)

The Department of Labour, Government of Karnataka, issues licenses, renews them, and modifies registrations and licenses in accordance with the numerous State and Federal Labor Laws and Rules that are being enforced. Companies must communicate with the department in order to comply with numerous laws.

PT Registration (Karnataka)

Both individuals and salaried employees must pay a professional tax. Employees in Karnataka who are employed by businesses or even by facilities like factories are required to complete the professional tax registration process. Professionals must register for professional taxes within 30 days of recruiting employees or starting their businesses, as appropriate.

ESI & PF Registration

As part of the “Ease of Doing Business” effort, the Central Labour Act now governs the registration of EPF and ESIC. Currently, it is mandatory for every organization with over 10 workers and a minimum income of Rs. 21,000 to register with the ESIC. Any business that has hired at least 20 workers is eligible to apply for PF registration. Establishments with less than 20 employees may occasionally still qualify for PF registration.
